I am a self-taught painter born in Marseilles in 1950 and reside in the Maritime Alps. I started to paint with oil on canvas in 1981 while inspiring myself from the great Masters of Impressionism.  My knife technique, working matter on matter, makes it possible for me to create the desired effect.  Thanks to my pallet of luminous colors, I describe myself as a colourist.  All this gives to the whole of my work a very personal pictorial signature.  I have been participating in Exhibitions since 1984 in France and abroad.  These Exhibits have enabled me to obtain various awards as well as favourable critique.
