I was born the son of a farmer, in a small village in the canton of Lembeye in the north of Pau.As a child I painted in gouache and the teacher used to pin my drawings on the walls of the class.
As a teenager I went from farm to farm in order to paint them.
Self-taught, I took part in various contests “to paint at the village”
With my painting I travel: Venice, China, Paris (the marsh)…. and I return invariably towards the streets or monuments which I like or that marked me.
Some awards particularly touched me these last years, denouncing the proverb which says “no one is a prophet in his country ".
I participate in exhibits regularly in the Aquitanian Southern area, and I also take part in some national and international exhibits.
I practise mainly two techniques: Watercolour and oil
I am primarily figurative and colourist
I am a full member of “the Company of the Friends of Arts in Pau “and also of associations “ the feather and the brush ", “Regionalist of Bearn, the Basque Country and the regions of Adour " and “the Morlanaise Pallet”
Since March 5, 2004, I have a permanent exhibit in the Workshop “Art 5” which we opened with 4 other artists (3 painters, 1 sculptor, 1 ceramist), 68 rue Castetnau in Pau in order to share our art and our practice with the public.
